ABOUT US.
Community Uplift Through Perseverance, INC. (C.U.P., Inc.) is a community-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting underprivileged youth and families in Harlem and the greater New York City metropolitan area.
C.U.P., Inc. was founded by the Xi Phi chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated (the Harlem Ques), as an extension of the chapter’s long-standing commitment to service, education, and community uplift. It was created to strengthen and expand programs that provide meaningful opportunities for young people to grow, learn, and succeed.
Our work focuses on empowering African-American youth through education, mentorship, and access to resources that support long-term success. When young people are given guidance, exposure, and encouragement, they are better equipped to reach their full potential and contribute positively to their communities.
Through scholarships, mentorship programs, life skills development, and educational initiatives — including serving as the 501(c)(3) sponsor of the Omega Black College Tour — C.U.P., Inc., works to create pathways to higher education, leadership, and sustainable growth. Our mission is rooted in perseverance, service, and collective well-being. By partnering with families, schools, and community organizations, we strive to build a stronger, more equitable future for the next generation.
